Vladislav Volkhin has been living in Japan since 2012.
He holds a higher education degree in the History and Culture of Japan and is an international specialist in the motorcycle industry.
With over 10 years of professional experience, Vladislav has organized motorcycle tours across Japan, designing large-scale routes specifically for long-distance and adventure riders. He is also the organizer of extreme winter expeditions on Ural motorcycles in Hokkaido.
Vladislav represents motorcycle brands at major international exhibitions, including the Tokyo Motorcycle Show and EICMA (Milan). His experience also includes organizing enduro events and motorcycle rallies in Japan, as well as participating in the preparation of the Japanese team for the Asia Cross Country Rally in Thailand and Cambodia.

Day 2
Koyasan / Ryujin-onsen
The Spiritual Heart of Japan & Legendary Mountain Roads.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and depart Osaka, leaving the city behind as we ride into the mountains toward Koyasan — a sacred center and the spiritual seat of the Shingon school of esoteric Buddhism.
We explore Kongobu-ji, the head temple of Shingon Buddhism, visit ancient pagodas, and walk through the mystical Okunoin Cemetery, the resting place of samurai, monks, and the legendary Kobo Daishi, founder of the Shingon tradition.
Lunch is served at an ancient monastery, featuring traditional vegetarian shojin ryori — refined Buddhist temple cuisine prepared according to monastic principles.
In the afternoon, we ride one of Japan’s most celebrated motorcycle routes: the Koya–Ryujin Skyline. This iconic mountain road is beloved by Japanese riders for its flowing curves, dramatic elevation changes, and sweeping panoramic views.
Descending from the mountains, we continue to the coast of the Seto Inland Sea, arriving at the renowned seaside resort town of Shirahama. Perched on a rocky cape overlooking the ocean stands Hamachidori-no-yu Kaishu, one of the most atmospheric onsen ryokans in the region.
The ryokan is especially known for its multiple open-air onsen baths with ocean views, including private baths available to guests at no additional charge. Staying here offers a complete sense of calm, immersion in nature, and quiet reflection.
In the evening, enjoy an elegant kaiseki dinner served in private dining rooms. The seasonal menu highlights local ingredients — fresh fish and seafood from the Seto Inland Sea, wild mountain herbs, and carefully selected regional vegetables.

Day 3
Kumano-Nachi-Taisha
Land of Gods, Sanctuaries, and Waterfalls Along Ancient Pilgrimage Routes.

After breakfast, we depart Shirahama and ride south along the scenic Wakayama Coastal Highway, passing through charming fishing villages and stopping at coastal viewpoints overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
The highlight of the day is Nachi Falls, where a powerful cascade plunges 133 meters down a sheer rock face — the tallest single-drop waterfall in Japan. Nearby stands Kumano Nachi Taisha, a sacred Shinto shrine nestled among ancient cedar forests. This site is part of one of Japan’s most important pilgrimage traditions and is known for its deeply tranquil, almost timeless atmosphere.
In the evening, unwind at an elegant oceanfront glamping retreat.
Accompanied by the sound of waves and the fresh sea breeze, enjoy a refined dinner centered around tuna, the signature delicacy of the Kii Peninsula — a symbol of the region and the region and the pride of its fishermen.

Day 4
Yoshino / Nara
Along the Sacred Roads.

Today’s journey follows one of Japan’s most spiritually resonant and visually captivating routes.
Leaving behind the mystical lands of Kumano, with their ancient shrines and mountain paths, we ride along a scenic, winding road toward the historical heart of Japan — Yoshino and Nara.
A walk through the forested paths of Yoshino feels like stepping back in time. Narrow mountain passes, the distant sound of temple bells, and views of mist-filled valleys make this part of the journey especially moving and introspective.
In the afternoon, we continue on to Nara, Japan’s first permanent capital. We visit the iconic Nara Park, where sacred deer roam freely among visitors, surrounded by monumental temples and historic landmarks that define the origins of Japanese civilization.
In the evening, check in to a refined hotel where each room features a private natural hot spring bath on its terrace, overlooking a tranquil bamboo forest. Dinner is served at the hotel, offering a choice of traditional kaiseki cuisine or expertly prepared teppanyaki dishes.

Seki / Gifu
Japanese Swords, Master Blacksmiths, and the Way of the Samurai.

Our journey begins in Seki, a town renowned for its centuries-old tradition of sword making and widely regarded as one of the spiritual homes of the Japanese blade.
In Seki, you will be immersed in the atmosphere of the warrior tradition. We visit the local sword museum, where exceptional examples of Japanese sword craftsmanship are displayed, followed by a Katana Experience. Under the guidance of master swordsmiths, you will observe — and personally try — key stages of katana creation, gaining rare insight into this living art form.
In the afternoon, we transfer to Gifu, where guests are welcomed at Juhachiro Ryokan, one of the region’s most respected traditional inns.

Shirakawa-go / Takayama
Mountains, Castles, and Fairytale Villages in the Heart of Japan.

The day begins with a scenic drive along Ibukiyama Road, widely regarded as one of the most beautiful mountain roads in Japan.
As we ascend, sweeping views of the Japanese Alps unfold — layers of mountains, dense forests, and crisp mountain air creating a powerful sense of openness and freedom.
By evening, we arrive at the legendary village of Shirakawa-go, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bathed in the soft light of the setting sun and framed by the warm tones of autumn maple trees, the village appears almost unreal — like a scene from a fairy tale preserved in time.

Nagahama/ Kurama/Kyoto
Lakeside Serenity, Scenic Cruises, and Mystical Mountain Trails.

After a leisurely morning, we continue our journey toward Kyoto, riding along picturesque mountain roads that wind through dense forests and quiet valleys. The route unfolds through layers of mountains and countryside, revealing Japan’s understated natural beauty.
Mount Kurama is one of the most mystical places in Japan. According to legend, the great samurai Minamoto no Yoshitsune trained here at Kurama-dera Temple, guided by the mythical tengu spirits.
For those who wish, a forest trail leads onward to Kifune Shrine, dedicated to the goddess of water — a path of silence, towering cedar trees, and powerful natural energy.
Upon arrival in Kyoto, we return the motorcycles and check in to a luxury five-star hotel. The evening is yours to relax, enjoy refined gastronomy, and fully immerse yourself in the aesthetics and quiet elegance of Japan’s ancient capital.

Relax, shop and say goodbye in authentic Japanese style.
