A Sunday Bonus: If your tour is on a Sunday, you'll get to see Ginza in a unique way. The main street becomes a huge, car-free pedestrian zone, perfect for a relaxed stroll.

  • Shibuya Crossing: See the famous scramble crossing, surrounded by giant screens. Find the loyal Hachiko dog statue and take in the energy of the world's busiest intersection.
  • View from Shibuya Sky: Head up to the Shibuya Sky observatory for amazing 360-degree views of the city.
  • Harajuku & Omotesando: Walk down lively Takeshita Street, full of unique fashion and snacks. Then, see the contrast on nearby Omotesando Avenue, a beautiful tree-lined street with designer shops.
  • Visit Shinjuku Gyoen Park and Garden, home to over 1,500 cherry blossoms, which turn the trees every shade of pink each spring.
  • Shinjuku's Backstreets: Explore a different side of Shinjuku. Walk through the small, smoky lanes of Omoide Yokocho, filled with tiny food stalls. Then, see the bright lights and energy of the Kabukicho area.

  • Lake Kawaguchiko: Take a peaceful walk by the lake. On a clear, calm day, you can see the perfect reflection of Mt. Fuji on the water.
  • The Famous Pagoda View: Climb the steps to the Chureito Pagoda. From the top, you'll get the famous postcard view of the red pagoda with Mt. Fuji in the background - it’s one of Japan's most photographed scenes.
  • Unique Kimono Art: Visit the Itchiku Kubota Art Museum to see the incredible, detailed kimono art. The artist used special dyeing techniques to create these stunning, modern textile masterpieces.
  • After the tour, you'll be transferred to Hakone (about 1-1.5 hours) to check into your hotel.

  • Hakone Shrine: Visit the historic Hakone Shrine, nestled in the forest by Lake Ashi. See its famous red gate standing in the water.
  • Lake Ashi & Mt. Fuji View: Take a walk along the shore of Lake Ashi. If the weather is clear, you’ll get a great view of Mount Fuji from across the water.
  • Open-Air Art: Walk through the Hakone Open-Air Museum to see sculptures set against the mountain landscape. The museum also has a large collection of works by Picasso in a special pavilion.
  • Owakudani (Optional): For an extra activity, take the ropeway up to Owakudani, a volcanic area with steam vents. You can try the local black eggs boiled in the hot springs.
  • After the tour, your guide will help you transfer to the station for your Shinkansen bullet train ride to Kyoto.

Sightseeing tour of Kyoto by public transport or taxi:
  • Visit to the most famous temple in Kyoto - the Temple of Pure Water (Kiyomizudera) which offers panoramic views of Kyoto from the temple's outdoor terrace (it will be very crowded).
  • Walk through the old streets of Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka and souvenir shops.
  • Visit the Sanjusangen-do Buddhist Temple, where you'll find an astonishing collection of 1,001 statues dedicated to Kannon, the goddess of mercy and compassion.
  • An evening stroll through the historic streets of the ancient Gion and Higashiyama neighborhoods, where geisha still live, and along the romantic Kamo River embankment.
  • A traditional Japanese dinner with a geisha at a Michelin-starred restaurant. This evening, you'll immerse yourself in old Kyoto and sample a traditional Kyoto dish, Kaiseki, reflecting all four seasons, in the company of a real geisha. You'll enjoy games, dancing, singing, playing instruments, and ask lots of questions about her life and craft. A guide will accompany you through dinner and translate.
